AM Tour #4: BMW Motorradwerk Berlin

Experience the production of the legendary BMW motorcycles up close, including a look inside the Rapid Prototyping Center

The BMW Group Plant Berlin is one of the BMW Group's most traditional locations. The almost 2,200 employees here produce up to 800 two-wheelers every day. You will visit the logistics center and the assembly hall of the main motorcycle production plant. BMW Motorrad not only works innovatively here, but also particularly efficiently: every 75 seconds, a finished motorcycle leaves the plant and makes its way to one of the 130 countries that are supplied from Berlin-Spandau. Be there live when individual motorcycles are manufactured from around 2,000 parts and components according to customer requirements. At the end of the tour, you will visit the AM department. You can take an exclusive look at the Rapid Prototyping Center and find out how and where additive manufacturing is already being used successfully in production.
